Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery or an Australian/Overseas equivalent recognised by the Australian Medical Council.
Current unrestricted registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). If you have any conditions, please advise the Application and Credentialing Coordinator.
Evidence of Fellowship of RACGP or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) or vocational registration. Additional qualifications or recognition may be required for the provision of specific clinical services, procedures or other interventions.
Evidence of completion of previous triennium requirements and active participation in continuing education recognised by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Quality Assurance and Continuous Professional Development (RACGP QA & CPD) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine-Professional Development Program (ACRRM PDP) or other specialist college, as applicable.
Details of all past and continuing health care related employment and particularly that in General Practice (as a recognised General Practitioner).
Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance as a General Practitioner (Level 1).
Two professional references from General Practitioners who can attest to the applicant’s current and, if appropriate, past clinical experience. References must relate to practice witnessed by the referee within the past two years, with exceptions being on a case by case basis, as determined appropriate by the Subject Matter Expert.
