General Practitioner - URGENTLY Required

Description: A General Practitioner is URGENTLY required between 16/08/10 until 27/08/10 to provide comprehensive Primary Health Care and contribute to the development and sustained operation of primary health care services relevant to the following communities -

Week 1 – Lake Nash
Week 2 – Alcoota
Week 3 - Harts Range

This opportunity will see you involved in a broad range of Primary Health Care management in consultation with Aboriginal Health Workers and Remote Area Nurses.
Duties include: assessment and management of a broad range of health management in consultation with Aboriginal Health Workers, Remote Area Nurses, and the provision of preventative health checks and involvement in health promotion work

Accommodated is provided within the communities you visit. Transport to and from these communities is by light plane.

RAHC provides all personnel with cultural training and clinical orientation prior to the Commencement of a placement and in addition all travel from point of origin to the destination and return. Accommodation is provided.
