Dental Health Professionals
We need Dentists, Dental Assistants and Oral Health Therapists to fill short-term placements in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. Placements are paid and from as little as three weeks. Cultural and Clinical training is provided before the placement commences.

Qualifications, experience and documentation required for Dental Health Professionals:
DENTISTS
- Bachelor of Dentistry or equivalent qualification that is recognised by the Australian Dental Council
- Current unrestricted registration to practice as a Dentist in Australia
- A minimum of two years recent clinical experience
- A letter of good standing, if required
- Annual certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Current user licence for radiation
- One clinical referee that can attest to the Dentist’s level of experience and competence
- Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance
DENTAL THERAPISTS
- Diploma of Oral Health or equivalent qualification that is recognised by the Australian Dental Council
- Current unrestricted Australian registration to practice as a Dental Therapist
- Bi-Annual certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Current user licence for radiation
- One clinical referee that can attest to the Therapist’s level of experience and competence
- Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance desired not essential
DENTAL ASSISTANTS
- Qualification in Dental Assisting (preferably a Certificate III)
- Recent experience working as a Dental Assistant
- One clinical referee (must be a dentist)
- Bi - Annual certification of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
