General Practitioners

We need General Practitioners to fill short-term placements in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. Placements are paid and from as little as three weeks. Cultural and Clinical training is provided before the placement commences.

Qualifications, experience and documentation required for General Practitioners:
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery
- Provide a copy of your current Curriculum Vitae - including personal, education and professional history
- Evidence of Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM or Vocational registration as a GP
- Copy of current Australian National Registration Certificate or Licence
- Evidence of Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support competency (completed within the past 12 months)
- A Letter of Good Standing if required
- Evidence of completion of previous triennium requirements and active participation in continuing education recognised by RACGP QA & CPD or ACCRM PDP
- Postgraduate certificates or qualifications (if applicable)
- Evidence of current medical indemnity insurance (at a minimum of GP level 1)
- Two references attesting to your clinical expertise. References must relate to practice in the last two years.
