General Practitioners

We need General Practitioners to fill short-term placements in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. Placements are paid and from as little as three weeks. Cultural and Clinical training is provided before the placement commences.

Qualifications, experience and documentation required for General Practitioners:
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery
- Provide details of lifetime professional registration history, including evidence of current unrestricted professional registration
- A Letter of Good Standing if required
- Details of endorsement or accreditation by professional colleges, associates or societies for the provision of specific clinical services, procedures or other interventions
- Details of all past and continuing health care-related employment
- Two referees that can attest to the Doctors clinical expertise
- Evidence of recent FRACGP QA&CPD or ACRRM PDP
- Evidence of medical indemnity insurance
Desirable Criteria:
Remote area health GP experience
