Thank you for considering a placement with the Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC). To get involved and to become part of the effort to close the gap in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes, please begin the application process as set out below. The application should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

Please note - applying with RAHC does not mean you will be credentialed or offered placements. Your application allows RAHC to credential you, so when successful, we can contact health services and identify appropriate placements that suit your skills, experience and availability.

Step 1 – Determine your eligibility: Enter your details below and complete the pre-screener questionnaire on the following page. Once you have passed this step, you will progress to our Jobs Portal. 

Please be aware that RAHC cannot provide visa sponsorship or assist in your visa application process. You must already have the right to work in Australia to apply with RAHC.

Step 2 – Jobs Portal: Before beginning the application, please ensure you have downloaded all the documentation listed under the job description. 

To continue with the application, please click the Apply Now button. You will need to create an account by entering your email address. Your account will automatically save your application progress as you enter your details. 

If you need to exit and complete the application at another time, your draft application is accessible by using your email address to log into the portal.

Step 3 – Contact Information: Enter your personal information and answer the listed application questions. 

Step 4 – Upload your forms and documentation: Where additional documentation is required, please upload all documents to the Additional Documents section on the last page of your application.

Step 5 – Submit your application: A RAHC team member will contact you within five business days to discuss your application. They may also request any other forms or documentation required to undertake the credentialing process.
