Requests for Professional Development support

The Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) provides our Health Professionals (HPs) with training and support for their transition into remote primary healthcare practice. This includes access to free eLearning and face-to-face cultural and clinical orientation.

RAHC also actively promotes professional development (PD) opportunities for HPs. Specifically, those that increase remote health skillsets and qualifications recommended for placement with services in the Northern Territory (NT).

RAHC HPs are welcome to apply for PD support directly related to remote health practice.

It is important to note that PD support from RAHC should also be seen in the context of a reward for an ongoing commitment to RAHC and undertaking multiple placements.

Download the 'PD Support Policy' and 'Request for support form’ from the Health Professional page on the RAHC website. You will be required to log in with your Health Professional account to access this page.

All RAHC HPs have a unique username and password to access the Health Professional section of the website. If it is your first time logging in, read the article 'Your access to the Health Professional Login on the RAHC website' for instructions.

Note - your username and password for the Health Professional login are different from your eLearning account username and password.

Please read the RAHC 'Professional Development Policy' to confirm you meet the eligibility criteria before applying for support. All PD must be requested and approved by RAHC prior to your commencement of any course or training.

Please email PD requests to [email protected].

For support around PD, please contact the RAHC team at [email protected].
