An Australian First: Integrated client-centric health electronic system

The Northern Territory Government 2016 Budget allocated $186 million over the next five years to replace PCIS and other health related systems under the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program (CCSRP).

The NT Minister for Corporate and Information Services Peter Styles said the five-year program to upgrade the existing core clinical information systems will be the largest ICT reform ever undertaken in the Territory.

“For the first time clinicians will be able to electronically access patient records from any public health care facility, anywhere in the Territory," Mr Styles said.
