Important notice – Incident reporting for RAHC health professionals
Your safety and wellbeing and that of your clients is of upmost importance to us. Please ensure that if an incident occurs whilst on placement that you follow the policy of the Health Service and complete appropriate documentation i.e. the Health Services Incident Form or if they do not have an available form, please use the DoH form on the Remote Health Atlas. Although most incidents, clinical and non-clinical are managed at the local level, as your employer it is important that we are alerted to your incident and a copy of the incident report forwarded to RAHC within 24-48 hours. It is our responsibility to ensure you have the necessary support during and after an incident as you well-being is of the highest priority to us. Please don’t hesitate to contact RAHC at any time when an incident occurs so we can provide any support, follow up and alert our insurer if necessary.
