RAHC is refunded until 2018
We are pleased to announce that Aspen Medical has been selected again to operate Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) until 30 June 2018.
The Australian Government Department of Health originally appointed Aspen Medical to operate RAHC in October 2008. RAHC has grown strongly since then under Aspen’s management. RAHC’s achievements were celebrated in Canberra in February of this year by the Minister of Health, Hon. Sussan Ley at our 3,000th placement event.
Following a lengthy tender process Aspen Medical has been re-appointed to operate RAHC until June 30 2018. This means that all our operations and processes remain unchanged and we look forward to working with you to undertake successful and safe placements and assisting our stakeholders to close the gap in Indigenous health outcomes.
The RAHC team has appreciated your support while we have dealt with a prolonged period of uncertainty. Equally, we thank you for the best wishes in recent days following the announcement.
Please feel free to speak with a RAHC team member if you have any questions about the situation moving forward.
