Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes for 2017

As we fast approach the end of the year I would like to personally thank you on behalf of the Board and the entire team at Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) for being part of the ongoing effort to close the gap in Indigenous health outcomes.

Whether you have undertaken several placements or about to embark on your first, your willingness to travel to what can be a confronting and challenging environment makes a significant contribution to the primary health care needs of the Indigenous communities in the Territory.

This year has been a year of change within RAHC, not least my own appointment as National Manager. Having taken over the reins from Philip Roberts in July I have appreciated the level of support and best wishes from all those in the primary health care community – stakeholders, clients, health professionals and the team at RAHC. Thanks to our wonderful team at RAHC the transition has been a smooth one.

Like you, my team and I are passionate about providing great health care in remote Indigenous communities in the Territory. With your help we look forward to making a difference again in 2017. The very best wishes you and your family over the festive period. I wish you good times and happy memories.

Best wishes,

Tanya Brunt
