Season’s greetings from the RAHC team

Thank you to all our RAHC health professions for being part of the effort to improve Indigenous health this year.

As we approach the end of 2012, we reflect with satisfaction on RAHC’s achievements since its first placement on 4 December 2008. In the period since, more than 570 health professionals have undertaken almost 1,800 placements in remote communities in the Northern Territory. We wish to express our appreciation for the wonderful commitment shown by individual General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Dental and Allied Health professionals who are working and contributing to Closing the Gap in Indigenous health outcomes.

In doing so, RAHC has contributed 163 man years to the Territory, thereby making a significant contribution to the health workforce. RAHC appreciates the support of its stakeholders, including AMSANT, the NT Department of Health and NTGPE in working with us to achieve this success along with the health services and their dedicated staff members

Season’s greetings and best wishes for 2013.

Sincerely
The RAHC team
