Upcoming Pharmacotherapeutics Courses in Alice Springs

The Centre for Remote Health (CRH) has informed us that there will be two short Pharmacotherapeutics courses available early next year on the dates:

  • Thursday 13th and Friday 14th Feb 2014 and
  • Monday March 31st and Tuesday April 1st 2014.

If you intend to apply for Professional Development (PD) support from RAHC, the Request for PD Support forms and the Professional Development Policy can be accessed via the HP Login page of the RAHC website https://www.rahc.com.au/health-professionals.

Before applying for PD support, please ensure you have read the RAHC Professional Development policy, also available on the HP Login page. In order to be reimbursed for undertaking PD, you must have requested PD Support and had it approved by RAHC prior to commencing the course. After the course, you must also complete Request for PD Support Form 3, the post-course feedback form. Completed Request for PD Support forms are to be emailed to fiona@rahc.com.au.

Accessing the new HP Login on the RAHC website

All RAHC Health Professionals now have a unique username and password to access the HP Login section on the RAHC website. If it is your first time logging in with a unique username and password, click the link ‘Forgot your password’. On the next page, enter your email address and you will be emailed instructions to choose your own password.

Completing Request for PD Support forms

The RAHC Request for PD Support forms can be printed, filled in by hand and returned to RAHC, or completed electronically and emailed to RAHC.

If completing a PDF form electronically (filling it in on your computer), you must either have the latest version of free Adobe Acrobat reader or the latest paid version, Adobe Acrobat Professional. Both are available for download on the Adobe Website.

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Professional on your computer and would like to see if you have the latest version, open the program on your computer, go to the ‘Help’ menu (at the top right of the screen) and click on ‘Check for Updates’. You will either be advised you have the latest version or given instructions to download the latest version.

When you fill PDF forms out electronically using the paid or free version of Adobe Acrobat, you don’t need to print them. Just type in your responses, save it to your computer and send it to RAHC as an email attachment.

If you still have any trouble filling these forms in electronically, please contact the RAHC team for assistance. Alternatively, you can still print the forms, complete by hand and send back to RAHC via email, fax or post.
