Upcoming remote area trauma response courses by the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre
The National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre has places available for the Remote Area Trauma Education (RATE) and Remote Pre-Hospital Trauma and Disaster Courses (RPHTDC) in 2018.
The courses are provided in remote, rural and urban locations throughout the Northern Territory.
The RATE is a one-day course organised for health practitioners to safely assess and manage trauma patients in remote clinics. The RPHTDC is a two-day course run for those who respond to trauma or disaster patients in a pre-hospital environment.
We encourage our health practitioners to consider to upskill in these areas. We would also like to remind you about our professional development support program. To find out more about it click here.
