Visit to the Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services
RAHC’s General Manager, Philip Roberts and the Director of CSR for our parent company, Aspen Medical, visited the Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services in Berrimah last week.
The Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services (CAAPS) is the largest not-for-profit family-focused residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation centre in Northern Australia. In addition to rehabilitation CAAPS provide outreach support in community to support appropriate referrals and work to prevent homelessness.
RAHC’s parent company, Aspen Medical, has donated funds each year for the last three years as part of Aspen’s Christmas giving program.
CAAPS used some of the funds to purchase iPads to assist Counsellors utilise specially designed apps to discuss and monitor client progress. They also purchased a Smart Board to assist in group work with their clients.
