NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. It is a chance to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The 2022 theme is ‘Get up! Stand up! Show up!’
It is about championing institutional, structural, collaborative and cooperative change and celebrating those who have already led change over the generations.
This year’s National NAIDOC poster competition was won by Ryhia Dank, a young Gudanji/Wakaja artist from the Northern Territory, with her entry, Stronger.
