When developing the Introduction to Remote Nursing Scope of Practice module, RAHC chose to work with an Aboriginal actor, Roxanne (Roxy) Mcdonald, to provide the voiceover to the animation. Roxy is a proud Aborignal woman descended from the Mandandanjii and Darambal tribes of Central Queensland. Roxy who has worked as an actor with leading Australian theatre companies for over 30 years.

RAHC would also like to thank Simon Kneebone, who created the visual for the animation. Simon is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator based out of South Australia who creates cartoons, animations and graphics for the past 25 years.

Tobias Speare created this module alongside Central Australian Rural Practitioners Association Inc (CARPA) and RAHC. It provides a clear understanding of what an RN's scope of practice is when working remote, what are the parameters and how to practice within these parameters. In particular, this module covers legislation and clinical guidelines for medicines management by nurses in remote locations to ensure clinical practice adheres to legal and organisational requirements.
