The Federal Government has released the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan in partnership with state and territory governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health leaders. The national policy framework is designed to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples over the next ten years.

The Remote Primary Health Care Manuals (RPHCM) are currently under review, with the newest edition expected to be released in late 2022.

Sales of the current 2017 Remote Primary Health Care Manuals will cease in April 2022.

The Remote Primary Health Care Manuals Project Team has announced that 98% of primary reviews have been completed.

Protocols are now being updated to reflect the endorsed changes. For significant content changes, they will consult with clinicians prior to the secondary review.
